Well my guess is that it just means files are not where they are supposed to be. There are directions on the wiki, but lots of people run into trouble trying to follow them.
Unfortunately itch.io doesn't support direct messages, and comment threads are a lousy support forum. If you don't Discord, how about forums?

This is a cute game! Simple but fun. I like how the main character's eye looks in whatever direction he's moving. I managed to get a score of 85. :)
Any chance for a web build? I don't have a convenient Windows box...
